6 Days trek in three valleys, Toubkal summit 4167m
Day 1 :
Arrival and transfer to your hotel in Marrakech city.
Day 2 :
Transfer to Aguersioual 1700m where you meet the muleteer team then You walk up for 1 ½ hours to Matat village and have your lunch.After a little rest you carry on to get to the high point for today which is Tizi Odite 2400m. A good mule trail to cross Ait Issa village in order to arrive at Tiziane village 1700m where you spend the second night in a gite(guesthouse). 5 hours walking.
Day 3 :
After breakfast you set off your trek following the driest stream for 2 hours to arrive at the mountain pass 2200 m. At this point you have good view back through colourful mountains with small bushes and juniper trees all over the hills. We go on our way downhill to the river under walnut trees to have a picnic lunch .In the afternoon you start an easy walk via very attractive landscapes to the Tkint Valley 1700m where you spend your night. 6hours walking.
Day 4 :
Walking from Tkent Valley to the head of the Azzaden valley. After having your breakfast, you will take the east direction passing by a group of nomadic houses then you start trekking uphill to get to Tizi n Tagdalte at 2500m. The way becomes easier then windy raod downhill to the river where you will have lunch. After that you cross to Tizi Oussem village then you have 2 hours to get to the refuge of Tamsoult where you stay tonight. 6 hours of walking.
Day 5 :
You set out at 8:00 am following the stream up to reach the fabulous waterfalls that are found in a rocky canyon before moving further up via many zigzags to reach the mountain pass of Agelzime 3560 m. Here you will have your picnic lunch and then follow the path down through further zigzags to arrive at the Toubkal refuge 3207m where you spend the third night. 5 hours of walking
Day 6 :
An early departure around 5 :00 am to guard against the weather changing in the afternoon. You climb the highest mountain in North Africa, Toubkal mountain 4167m. It takes 3 hours going uphill and 2 hours back to the refuge where you will have your lunch.After that you continue down the mule path to Imlil Valley.We then transfer to Marrakech .It’s long day (8 hours )but you have the option of staying in the refuge another night if you want more recovery time.
