Day 1: Fes – medilt – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Desert)
After the breakfast we will start our journey travelling to Merzouga area, passing through Ifrane to arrive to the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are living. It will be good opportunity to take photos of wilderness in Morocco. Lunch in Medilt city. We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes via the small towns of Rich,Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.And then continue to Merzouga, after relaxing few min.. you’ll ride the camels to spend the night in desert camp. ( Night in berber nomad tents ). 9 hours of drive. and 1 hour of camel ride.
Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Dades – Ait Benhaddou:
After seeing the sunrise in desert we go back on camels to Merzouga, after the breakfast and take shower in the Hotel then we start our journey to Ouarzazate region ,on the way, we will visit the Berber villages in todra valley such as todra gorges, dades valley, Mgoun Valley.then we drive throughout ouarzazate. We will arrive Ait Benhaddou at late afternoon. overnight in hotel. 6 hours of drive
Day 3: Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas Mountains – Tizi N’Tichka Pass – Marrakech
After enjoying our breakfast, we will visit UNESCO protected site of Ait Ben Haddou, which an impressive Kasbah and well-preserved fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed here such as the Gladiator.Game of throns. Leave Ait Ben Haddou and start heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains Crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the highest mountain pass (Tizni Tichka 2260m) that offers outstanding views of green narrow valleys, mountains and many Berber villages. We will arrive Marrakech in evening.drop off at your accommodation.
